A brief history of the western signs of the Zodiac
The signs of the Zodiac are a great way of personalising your gift giving but which sign represents their date of birth? It's worth mentioning that while the Western Zodiac is widely known and used in Western astrology, other cultures have their own astrological systems with different constellations and interpretations.
The concept of the Zodiac can be traced back to ancient civilizations, particularly to the Babylonians in Mesopotamia around 2,500 years ago. They divided the sky into twelve equal segments, each representing a particular constellation.
